It was a pleasant spring morning. The early morning flight from Singapore had landed ahead of schedule at the Sydney Airport. As Richard stepped out of the Airbus 330-300 VH-QPG, he was grateful for another uneventful flight journey.

As he left the flight that morning, Richard was sure of one thing; he never wanted to fly an airplane again. Ever!

He walked over to the Airline’s office and went straight to the first free computer he could find. He quickly types out a resignation letter. Re-reads it. Then, hits print.

He leaves the office for the last time, having left his resignation letter on his boss’ table.
Was this the right move? Is he being stupid?
