Soon after she got off the flight at the Bombay Airport, Madhura bid farewell to Sara Parker and was on her way to the hotel. The Organizers of the Conference were hosting it at the Taj Hotel and found it convenient to arrange for the stay of the participants there, instead of arranging for their transportation on all three days of the Conference.
Soon after she was freshened up, she decided to take a stroll around the place. As she walked, her thoughts were consumed by the picture of that little girl in the newspaper. Kavitha had only been two years old when Madhura had left her. She had grown up and was winning competitions. It must have been a thoroughly devastating for Kavitha to grow up with the knowledge that her mother had abandoned her. And what about her husband? He had been nothing but kind and indulgent towards Mathura. She must have really broken his heart; not only had she abandoned him, but she had separated him from his daughter.
Today, although Mathura had accomplished so much in her academic life, her merits did not quite seem to add up to much in light of all that she had to abandon in order to get here. Sara had consoled her saying, “You should be happy that at least you are excelling in something. Even if you had to abandon your family like this.” But truth to be told, she had realized one important lesson; doing what you love is only one half of what life is all about, the other half (the more important half, really!) was about who you are with when she was doing it. And at that moment Madhura realized that she had to change things for the better. She had to unite with her family again. And just as she came to this decision, she realized that she had reached Marine Drive. She sat there for a long while trying to come up with a plan on how to go about meeting her husband and daughter again.

Where do you think fate will take her?? Let us wite…..
