“When a witch changes from being a belief to being a force of nature, that’s when a witch goes bad.”

A free copy was provided to me by Netgalley in exchange for a honest review of the same.

Feeling the need for adventure? Come fly, transform and charm with the hidden witches of Manhattan!
Perfect for a night in, curled up in your reading nook.

The dyslexic Wes feels pressurized to succeed with his over-achieving siblings. When he is forcefully reassigned to a top secret unit of the security by his overbearing dad, he is thrown into a world where witches, trolls and pixies come to life. Given his last chance to prove himself, Wes is equipped with peculiar witch hunting weapons. He has to investigate the bad Willas and save the good Davinas.
Morgan is a Davina, through and through. So was her mother, and her grandmother. But there’s something amiss with her aunt Bernadette, who is starting to act like a Willa. With a plan to take over the humankind, and something even more sinister cooking at the back of her mind, she has to be stopped.

Witches Protection Program by Michael Phillip Cash, is not a book that can be easily put down; It was completed by me in one sitting. We’re taken into into a parallel world that exists with our very own. A world where magic runs wild, and effects each of us in inexplicable ways. We are taken from Junie’s special stew, to Bernadette’s enchanting pebbles. These witches are powerful, and have got undeniable style.

The themes handled are widely the hunger for power and sexual discrimination. (If you think the women are the ones facing the brunt, you’ve got another think coming!)
The last chapter whispers in a promise of a sequel.
